This is my very first released piece of work as CALLmeKAT.

I recorded the songs myself, using a laptop and a dictaphone in my apartment and in a broken down barn in the Catskill Mountains. In addition I sampled nature sounds and sound effects from very old vinyl records that I found cheaply on the floor of a shop.

When the recordings were done I took them to Iceland where Valgeir Sigurdsson (Bjørk, Coco Rosie, etc) mixed and mastered it.

FUN FACT! This artwork was featured in an Apple campaign for the Ipod Nano in the fall of 2012. I didn't know about this until a fan told me about it!
